As usual, the competition for smartest car was held before the meeting got going, but the amount of smart and unusual material this year was bigger and better than ever before! The winner this year was 604 Mark Mitchell from Hampshire with this great example of a 1948 Austin A135 Ambulance, with places for the ultra-rare Daimler DK400 Limo from 661 Peter "Singy" Singleton from Lancashire, 665 Didier Callewaert from Belgium with a well prepared Jaguar (though I do believe he brought his fan club with him!) and 754 Dave Nichols in another beautifully turned out Rolls Royce, this time a Silver Spirit 2.
